Important: Please make sure you have logged in to the new owner email in Leadshook, before you click the “Join” button from the email you will receive when updating Account owner.
Introduction:
This article shows how to update an Account Owner or Transfer Account Ownership. This update can be done directly through your LeadsHook account.
Notes:
- When you change ownership of your account, you will no longer have access to this account, if the new owner does not grant access to you.
- The new owner will get access to all of the decision trees and lead generation data. You will need to take the required steps to comply with relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Log into your Account Manager and select Transfer Account Ownership.


Step 2: Complete the details of the account you would like to change ownership to including the account and new owner’s email, as shown below:

The new owner will receive the following email to join LeadsHook and be required to complete their details:


Step 3: The new owner will be requested to confirm the transfer and billing details.

A confirmation email will be sent to confirm the transfer of owner.
