This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from LeadsHook (operated by Blitz Brands Pty Ltd), including data processed through our WhatsApp Business Messaging feature. It is provided in addition to, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.
(a) LeadsHook customers — businesses with a LeadsHook account; and
(b) Leads and contacts — individuals who have been messaged by a LeadsHook customer through our platform, including via WhatsApp.
If you are a lead or contact and want a specific business to stop messaging you or to delete your information from their records, please contact that business directly — they control that relationship and their own contact list, and we do not have the ability to act on their behalf. If you are unable to reach them, or your request concerns LeadsHook's own processing of your data (for example, as described in the WhatsApp Business Messaging section of our Privacy Policy), use the process below.
Email privacy@leadshook.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", including:
(a) your name and the email address or phone number associated with the data you want deleted;
(b) if your request relates to WhatsApp messages, the business name (LeadsHook customer) you were messaged by, if known; and
(c) a description of the data you would like deleted.
(a) We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
(b) We will verify your identity before processing the request, to prevent unauthorised deletion of someone else's data.
(c) We will complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain certain data (for example, records needed for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance) — in which case we will tell you what is retained and why.
(d) Data processed through WhatsApp Business Messaging is deleted from LeadsHook's own systems in accordance with this process. Meta applies its own independent retention rules to data processed on the WhatsApp Business Platform's infrastructure, described in Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform data privacy documentation , which LeadsHook does not control.
(e) We will confirm by email once deletion is complete.
