How to Verify Your Custom Domains

YOUR CUSTOM DOMAINS AND LEADSHOOK SUBDOMAINS CAN BE VERIFIED

Introduction

In this article, you’ll learn how to verify your custom domain or LeadsHook domain with Facebook. You can use the same steps to verify your domain with any other app or system.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Log into Facebook Business.

  • Click Business Settings

  • Click “Domains”
  • Click “Add”
  • Grab the information under Meta-tag Verification

  • Please check Step 5 below

  • Login into LeadsHook
  • Click “Admin” and then “Custom Domains”
  • Click Add meta tags for the domain you want to verify

Step 2: Adding Meta tags to your domains

  • Click “Add Meta tags”
  • Provide the meta tag information you previously grabed from Step 1.

Step 3: Verify Your Meta tag Setup

NOTE: You will need to check your Domain and NOT on the Decision Tree Direct Link URL as it will not show up on your Decision Tree URL.

  • Use Developer Tools for Mac users or Inspect page for Windows
  • Select View page source/View source
  • The meta tags should be visible on the page source code

Common Issues

  1. Verification Did Not Work

If your verification does not work, then please retry AFTER 10 mins. Server caches are cleared every 5 mins so please wait 5-10 min before trying again
