• You have connected your ESP or CRM via API
  • You have mapped the fields esp. rlink.
  • You have verified you can see rlink URLs in a custom field at your email service provider
  • PDF instructions are SAME as the html version except for one small change.  Please go to the bottom of this page for instrucitons on how to display the PDF version of your results page on your domain.

Each completed results page will create a corresponding unique results link.

The Results Link is located with each lead as shown below:

Results Link is saved in a custom field called “rlink”

Please be sure to map the “rlink” field to a corresponding field at your Email Service Provider or CRM.

The results link looks like this:

The HTML version of the results link has a /html added to the end as shown below:

>>> It’s this HTML version that you’ll be displaying in your website.

What is the purpose of the rlink script?

You’ll send your leads and customers to a URL on your website (see Step 1 below).  Your results link has a domain.  The script takes the results link and shows it inside your domain.  This way you’re not sending your leads and customers to webpage with a domain.

So the link your leads will click contains the results link as a variable or parameter.

Results Link Format: LINK/html?embed=true

1)  Sometimes your website will work without a trailing /

Example: Notice the / is missing at the end of the red URL.

2) Please do not forget to add…

3)  Technically the last / and ? should we added with its html encoded version, %2F and %3F.  This is shown below in in BOLD test.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Create a page on your website where you’ll be showing your results page.

Step 2: Please copy/paste the script on the page you created in Step 1

OR ADD this script via a plugin (preferred and recommended):

WordPress can at times add extra, we’ve found the best approach is to add the javascript code (attached in at the end of this page), via a plugin instead of directly onto the page.  This will ensure you don’t end up breaking the script.

Please note:  There are quite a few plugins you can use.  The video refers to this plugin:

Here are some other plugins (which we have NOT tested):

Watch this video for more details:

Script is at the bottom of this page

Step 3: Get the rlink custom field at your email service provider (ESP)

Depending your ESP, it might be look like {!custom rlink}, {rlink}, %RLINK%, or any other field you create.

Step 4: Create the URL to add inside your email:

The form of the URL is as follows (examples):

WITHOUT a trailing /{rlink}/html?embed=true

WITH a trailing /:*|RLINK|*/html?embed=true

Be sure to replace the / and ? to %2F and %3F.

STEP 5: Add URL from Step 4 to your email.

When the email is sent your ESP will replace {rlink} with the

rlink URL you have saved in the rlink custom field so the url that ends up on your site is as follows:

Step 6: Test by simulating link from email marketing system into your browser:

You should see your results page displayed at this address:

Please Copy and paste the script AS-IS:

<iframe id="rlink-embed" style="overflow: hidden;width:0; min-width:100%; *width: 100%;" src="" width="100%" frameborder="0"> </iframe>
<script type="text/javascript">
	function getQueryStringValue (key) {
	 return decodeURIComponent( RegExp("^(?:.*[&\\?]" + encodeURIComponent(key).replace(/[\.\+\*]/g, "\\$&") + "(?:\\=([^&]*))?)?.*$", "i"), "$1"));
	jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
	    if (! sessionStorage.getItem('justOnce')) {
	     	sessionStorage.setItem("justOnce", "true");
	     		sessionStorage.setItem("rlink", getQueryStringValue('rlink')+'#view=fit');
	     		sessionStorage.setItem("rlink", getQueryStringValue('rlink'));
	     	window.location = window.location.href.split('?')[0];
	    jQuery('#rlink-embed').attr('src', sessionStorage.getItem("rlink"));
	    window.addEventListener('message', function (event) {
		    var msg = JSON.parse(;
		    var msgHeight = msg.docHeight
		    if (msgHeight) {
		    	var iframeHeight = parseInt(msgHeight);
			}, false);

Step 7: Test

We’ve added the code at the following test site.  All you have to do is replace your rlink as indicated below your results page will display.

Remove REPLACE-WITH-RLINK-URL with your rlink.

Your page should display something similar.
