In this article you’ll learn how to give access to LeadsHook team to help troubleshoot or setup Facebook tracking such as pixels and/or Facebook Serverside Tracking.

Step 1: Login into Facebook Business Manager

  • Click “Settings”

Step 2: Add LeadsHook Team Member

  • Click “Add People”
  • Enter Email Address
  • Team member invited will receive an invitation email

Step 3: Select Pixels Only

  • Click Pixels
  • Select the Pixel under “Assets”
  • Enable “Partial Access” on the right had side under Pixel.
  • Click “Invite People”
  • We do NOT need any other access to setup your tracking. Do NOT grant access to anything else.

Step 3A: Please inform the LeadsHook team your Business Manager/Business Details.

  • Your business manager details could be different to your brand or product. Our team will need to know the invite is from you.

Step 4: Join Business Manager (NO ACTION REQUIRED – INFORMATION ONLY)

  • Team member invited will receive an invitation email
  • Click the “Get Started” button on the email

Step 5: Accept Access (NO ACTION REQUIRED – INFORMATION ONLY)

  • Enter your Name
  • Click “Continue”

Step 6: Review Access (NO ACTION REQUIRED – INFORMATION ONLY)

Step 7: Setup 2-Factor Authentication. (NO ACTION REQUIRED – INFORMATION ONLY)

Step 8: Add Permission to Pixel

  • Click “People”
  • Select the name of the invited user
  • Click “Assign Assets”

PLEASE NOTE: You can do this step AFTER the user has added to your Facebook business manager account.

Step 9: Assign Pixel to New User

  • Click “Pixels”
  • Select the Pixel under Assets
  • Enable “View Pixels” on the right hand side under Pixel

PLEASE NOTE: We do not need more than VIEW access. Do NOT grant MANAGE PIXELs access.

Step 10: User’s Business Manager Access (NO ACTION REQUIRED – INFORMATION ONLY)

  • When User Logins into your Facebook Business Manager, this is all they have access to this

Step 11: Project Completion – Remove Access

  • Click “Settings”
  • Click “People”
  • Click the name of the invited user
  • Click “…” on the upper right side part of the screen
  • Click “Remove from business account”
  • After the project or task has been completed, please remove user access to your business manager.
