By setting up a Webhook, you can automatically send your lead\n    data straight into your GHL CRM.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <h2>Phase 1: Create a Private Integration in GoHighLevel<\/h2>\n  <p>\n    First, we need to generate a special password called an &#8220;Access Token&#8221; inside GHL so\n    LeadsHook has permission to send data to it.\n  <\/p>\n  <ol>\n    <li>Log in to your GoHighLevel account and open your specific Sub-Account.<\/li>\n    <li>Click on <strong>Settings<\/strong> located at the bottom left corner of your screen.<\/li>\n    <li>In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on <strong>Private Integrations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n    <li>Click the blue <strong>Create new integration<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n    <li>\n      Fill in the <strong>Basic Info<\/strong>. Give it a clear name like\n      <code>LeadsHook Integration<\/code> and write a short description.\n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      Under the <strong>Scopes<\/strong> section, you must define what LeadsHook is allowed to do.\n      Search for and select the following two scopes:\n      <ul>\n        <li><code>contacts.readonly<\/code><\/li>\n        <li><code>contacts.write<\/code><\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n    <\/li>\n    <li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong>.<\/li>\n  <\/ol>\n\n  <div class=\"warning-box\">\n    <strong>Important:<\/strong> A popup window will appear showing your new\n    <strong>Access Token<\/strong>. Click the copy icon to copy this long string of text.\n    Paste it into a temporary notepad. You will need this token in the next phases, and GHL\n    will only show it to you once.\n  <\/div>\n\n  <h2>Phase 2: Create Custom Fields in GoHighLevel<\/h2>\n  <p>\n    If you are collecting custom answers in LeadsHook, you need a matching place to store\n    that answer in GHL.\n  <\/p>\n  <ol>\n    <li>Still in your GHL Settings, click on <strong>Custom Fields<\/strong> in the left menu.<\/li>\n    <li>Click the green <strong>Add Field<\/strong> button in the top right.<\/li>\n    <li>Select the type of field you need (for example, <strong>Single Line<\/strong> text) and click Next.<\/li>\n    <li>\n      Name your field exactly as you want it to appear (e.g., <code>favorite_color<\/code>) and\n      make sure the Object is set to <strong>Contact<\/strong>.\n    <\/li>\n    <li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n  <\/ol>\n\n  <h2>Phase 3: Get Your GHL Custom Field IDs via API Node<\/h2>\n  <p>\n    To send data to those custom fields, you need their specific &#8220;IDs&#8221; from GHL. We can fetch\n    these directly inside LeadsHook using an API node.\n  <\/p>\n  <ol>\n    <li>\n      Log in to GoHighLevel and look at the URL at the top of your browser. Copy the string of\n      letters and numbers right after <code>location\/<\/code>. This is your <strong>Location ID<\/strong>.\n      Save it to your notepad.\n    <\/li>\n    <li>Open your LeadsHook Decision Tree and add a new <strong>API<\/strong> node to the canvas.<\/li>\n    <li>Double-click the API node to edit it.<\/li>\n    <li>Set the <strong>Method<\/strong> dropdown to <strong>GET<\/strong>.<\/li>\n    <li>\n      In the <strong>Request URL<\/strong> field, paste this link, replacing\n      <code>YOUR_LOCATION_ID<\/code> with the ID you copied in step 1:<br>\n      <code>https:\/\/services.leadconnectorhq.com\/locations\/YOUR_LOCATION_ID\/customFields<\/code>\n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      Scroll to the <strong>Headers<\/strong> section and add these two headers:\n      <ul>\n        <li>\n          Key: <code>Authorization<\/code> | Value:\n          <code>Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN<\/code> (paste your token from Phase 1 here)\n        <\/li>\n        <li>Key: <code>Version<\/code> | Value: <code>2023-02-21<\/code><\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n    <\/li>\n    <li>Click the <strong>Test Request<\/strong> button at the bottom of the node.<\/li>\n    <li>\n      A window will pop up showing the response. Look at the <strong>Response Body<\/strong>.\n      You will see a list of your custom fields. Find the name of the field you created and\n      look for the <code>\"id\"<\/code> right above or below it. It will look like a random string\n      of characters (e.g., <code>\"id\": \"JvK9B...\"<\/code>).\n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      Copy that ID to your notepad. You will use it in the next phase. You can delete this API\n      node from your canvas once you have your IDs.\n    <\/li>\n  <\/ol>\n\n  <h2>Phase 4: Set up the Webhook Node in LeadsHook<\/h2>\n  <p>\n    Now we will tell LeadsHook where to send the data using the token and the custom field IDs\n    we collected.\n  <\/p>\n  <ol>\n    <li>Add a new <strong>Webhook<\/strong> node to your canvas and connect it to your flow.<\/li>\n    <li>Click the Webhook node to open its properties.<\/li>\n    <li>Set the <strong>Method<\/strong> dropdown to <strong>POST<\/strong>.<\/li>\n    <li>\n      In the <strong>Request URL<\/strong> field, paste this exact link:<br>\n      <code>https:\/\/services.leadconnectorhq.com\/contacts\/<\/code>\n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      Scroll down to the <strong>Headers<\/strong> section. You need to configure three specific\n      headers here:\n    <\/li>\n  <\/ol>\n\n  <div class=\"note-box\">\n    <strong>Header Setup Instructions:<\/strong>\n    <ul>\n      <li>\n        <strong>Header 1:<\/strong> Key: <code>Content-Type<\/code> | Value:\n        <code>application\/json<\/code> (This is usually filled out by default).\n      <\/li>\n      <li>\n        <strong>Header 2:<\/strong> Key: <code>Authorization<\/code> | Value:\n        <code>Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN<\/code> (Paste your Access Token from Phase 1).\n      <\/li>\n      <li><strong>Header 3:<\/strong> Key: <code>Version<\/code> | Value: <code>2023-02-21<\/code><\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n  <\/div>\n\n  <ol start=\"6\">\n    <li>\n      In the <strong>Body<\/strong> section (set to JSON), map your LeadsHook fields to your GHL\n      fields. When sending data to the custom fields, use the Custom Field ID you retrieved in\n      Phase 3.
